Haiku Poem

             Jack Frost roaming streets

            Santa going down chimneys

            Sandman giving dreams     

          Quenching my own thirst

          Liquid flowing down my throat

          my parched throat refreshed

         Leaves start to blossom

         Warmth returns to the earth

            Kick back relax time    

          

Swimming Sports

AS I SAT DOWN, I LOOKED AT THE BLUE MURkY REFRESHING WATER. I HEARD SCREAMING AND LAUGHTER, I WAS BURNING AS THE SUN ATTACKED ME. I FELT SO GREAT AND CONFIDENT. I WAS EXCITED BECAUSE TODAY WAS SWIMMING SPORTS!

FIRST IT WAS THE OPEN 4 LENGTH FREESTYLE, I WAS WALKING TO THE BLUE SHADE, IT WAS SO NERVE RACKING LOOKING AT THE BLUE WATER. WHILE I WAS WAITING I HEARD SO MUCH NOISE IT WAS CRAZY! BUT I STILL HEARD JACK ANNOUNCING THAT WE WERE RACING. AS I WALKED UP TO THE BLOCK I HAD BUTTERFLIES IN MY TUMMY.

“BRRRRRRRR! READY! GO!!!” I DIVED IN. I WAS THE 3RD ONE TO CRACK THE ICE BUT EVERYONE CAUGHT  UP. I WAS SWIMMING AS HARD AS I CAN. JACKSON WAS COMING 1ST, and I STILL WAS GETTING STOMPED BY EVERYONE BUT I STILL TRIED. IN THE END I CAME 2ND TO LAST BUT I DIDN’T REALLY CARE.

FINALLY I WENT HOME WINNING TWO RACES.

  

ANTI-BULLYING Anti-bullying tries to make it stop Beating us up making us hop Counting all the days we’ve been bullied around Dancing on our faces while we’re on the ground Eternal bullies walking all around Fancy sneaking without making a sound Glittering blood that’s what we hate Hesitating about bruces I hope we're not too late In competitions who is the most lamest Jerks who think they're famous Kings of bullies are not cool Lying about pushing us off the stools Teachers believing what they say Not even caring what we do, they delay Obstacles of illusions making all these lies Pleading for mercy, I would make a disguise Quietly tripping over feelings hurt too Running away from bullies ,bullies are so cruel Slivering through the grass hiding really low Try not to make a sound from head to toe Undoing all the bad trying not to be mean Versing the biggest bully i'm gonna get creamed What are bullies thinking, i’m gonna be alert X rays and nurses incase we get hurt Yapping about nothing just wanting attention Zooming through the classrooms going to detention.

The Sleep Over

When I Woke up, I went to the sitting room as slow as a turtle.Well, I was playing on the computer, unexpectedly my cousins, Ezekiel and Luke came over."Hi,want to come to Chartwell with us?"Said Ezekiel  "Yeah." I said.

Firstly, well, I was in the car, we were playing with the toys, I was playing with Jeff Harty, a cool, famous wrestler, and Luke was playing Matt Harty, Jeff's brother, also a wrestler. We pretended that we were super heroes, I was Batman and he was Spiderman.

Next, we looked at all the shops, one shop  was called EBA Games, it had these cool as games like Assassins Creed 4 and Uncharted 4 etc.40 minutes after that, I think, we went to Burger king,we had a big coupon that had heaps of combos, I got a $8.90 combo so did Ezekiel but Luke didn't, he got a $5 combo so he got an extra $5, then we went to Te Kowhai skate board park. It was really cool until a boy buzz killed it, he started an arguement.

Finally, we went home and had dinner and went to sleep.

I want do that again, 30 times more, that's how good it was.

The Solar System

THE EXPERIMENT

On Friday, our class tried an experiment called the Fizz Bomb. We tried it on the field.
You will need:
1x teaspoon of baking soda.
1x teaspoon of tartaric acid
2x pieces of string
1x snaplock bag
1x cup of water
What to do:

First, you put the the baking soda in one bottom corner of the snaplock bag then you get one string and you tie it around the outside of the corner with the baking soda in it.
Next, you put the tartaric acid and the cup of water in it.
Finally, you zip the bag shut and hopefully it will pop!

How To Make a Cardboard Print

You will need:
-thick cardboard
-thin cardboard
-scissors
-P.V.A. glue
-printing ink
-rollers
-paper

What To Do:
1.Cut out cardboard shapes to make a picture.
2.Glue onto template.
3. Let it dry.
4.Put paper over top.
5.Use roller to put paint on the template.
6.Put paper over top and press it with a clean roller.
7.Pull off.
